French technique fine binding: sewn on flattened cords laced into boards, covered in full goatskin. Backpared goatskin onlays using Paul Delrue’s Lacunose technique, inlaid goatskin lines. Sunken suede doublures capture impression of textured Japanese paper flyleaves. Hand sewn silk headbands, gilded top edge.
