Sewn on flattened cords laced into boards, covered in full blue goatskin. Gold tooled onlays of red and yellow. Red goatskin doublures and marbled paper flyleaves. Sewn endbands of red yellow and blue silk. Graphite edges.

Design inspired by the tale Les fees/The Fairies, where flowers and gems fall from the lips of the good daughter when she speaks, and toads and vipers from lips of the evil daughter.
